Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center has been the premier whitewater kayaking school in the Rocky Mountain West since 1982. Our kayak instruction facility is on the banks of the famous Arkansas River with whitewater out the door!
Mountains and rock faces surround our location in the Arkansas River Valley and some of Colorado's famous 14,000 foot peaks tower above the river. As a result we have fantastic opportunities for rock climbing, and mountain biking adventures as well as the whitewater that we're famous for.
Whether you are looking for a great day outing from Denver or Colorado Springs, a couple of days of adventure during your family vacation, or an extended period of instruction and adventure on your Colorado summer vacation we have the facilities, equipment, and experienced staff to provide you with fantastic experience.
