Governor Polis instituted safer-at-home measures at the end of April, which forbid Colorado’s many outfitters to operate at full capacity. However, per Chaffee County’s Public Health Order, RMOC is allowed to offer guided trips and professional instruction to people living within the county.
This means we are STOKED to be OPEN to Chaffee County residents!
Seriously, we can’t WAIT to get outside with you. And thank goodness, because now that the weather is warming up and the valley is turning green, it’s the best time of year to get outside and play… be it on the river or in the mountains.
This is an ideal opportunity for Chaffee County residents to continue practicing social distancing while also getting outside and being active, which we believe is essential for mental and physical well-being.
This Chaffee County health order kicks in May 1st and will continue for the month. RMOC will be prepared to open completely on June 1st so long as state restrictions have been lifted.
In the meantime, we will comply with social distancing and other safety requirements, obtain our Safe Business Certificate, and begin booking reservations for the summer.
