Course Description
Learn to navigate a team of rafters down class III whitewater. Be prepared for long and exciting days on the river. Course is mostly focused on paddle guiding, but will cover oar boats as well. Open to private boaters as well as those seeking professional certification. Includes all of the requirements for ROL raft guide certification from the State of Colorado.
Venue
Arkansas River. Will most likely see all sections, from Granite to Canon City. Over 100 miles of epic whitewater! Overnight portion in Brown’s Canyon National Monument.

Minimum 18 years old. Must be current ACA member. Ability to pass a L2 skills assessment.
Course Description
For those looking to teach rowing techniques. Candidates will be required to perform fundamental strokes and raft maneuvers with oars. Learning to effectively teach a lesson using various methods is a focus of the course. Safety and rescue techniques are also covered.
