This may be the most intense trip offered commercially on the Arkansas River
The river is steep and rocky in the upper part of the valley. This provides non-stop action and miles of continuous whitewater as you weave through boulder gardens and crush through waves. See for yourself why local kayakers consider this to be one of the quintessential sections of river in Colorado. This trip is only offered at certain water levels. ACA Certified Kayak Instructor on all trips.
Class IV, Extreme
Minimum Age: 18 years old (or 14 with a parent/guardian)
Requirements: All participants will be required to pass a skills test prior to the trip and a screening prior to booking. Ideally, we would like to run Browns Canyon the day prior in order to assess ability.
