We have access to a variety of locations that offer exceptional guided rock climbing opportunities for all ages and abilities. No experience necessary; our guides can show you the ropes. No matter what kind of trip you are looking for, we can show you a great day on the rocks. Most of all, our guides love to climb and they look forward to sharing that passion with you! All trips have professional guides trained by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA).

Shelf Road
Limestone walls are lined with endless sport routes in a beautiful desert landscape. This is considered to be one of the best sport climbing areas in the state. The warm climate makes this spot great for climbing any time of year.
Castle Rock
Amazing granite domes climb out of a shaded forest around Aspen Ridge. This is our most remote site, but definitely worth the trip. This area offers a perfect blend of beautiful scenery and classic Colorado climbing.
Monitor Rock
High Mountain routes that offer some of the state’s premiere multi-pitch climbs. Incredible granite rock domes with easy approach and a variety of single and multi-pitch routes. Sitting up high in the alpine environment, you get incredible views of Colorado’s highest peaks. Climbing on these huge walls is an awesome experience.
The Pumpstation
A tower of granite overlooking the popular ‘Numbers’ section of the Arkansas River. As the name suggests, there are some difficult climbs here that will surely leave you pumped, but the South face also offers moderate climbs with exceptional views. This site also offers a unique rappelling experience.
Leaning Wall
A fun place to climb for all abilities with numerous routes along this face and adjacent areas like the Chief’s Head and Poncho’s Vista. This site also offers great views of the Arkansas River and Collegiate Peaks.
Falls Gulch
Tucked along the river in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, this crag is great for diverse groups. Half of the climbs are short and easy for beginners. The other half are longer and more difficult which gives you plenty of time on the rock. Sport routes and rappelling are also available here.
Davis Face
Beginner-intermediate climbing area outside of Buena Vista, CO in the Four Mile area. Longer approach- often 30+ minutes uphill. Classic climbs from the guidebooks, plus some new lines not yet featured in those books. Great for learning to climb multi-pitch.
Elephant Rock and Bob’s Rock
Easy to access roadside crags close to the Arkansas River available Labor Day- Memorial Day with beginner, intermediate, and advanced routes. Close to Buena Vista, CO and easy for spectators to come along to watch!
Transmitter Tower
Stunning rock towers outside of Buena Vista in Four Mile area. Top rope, sport, and beginner multi-pitch options all available. Great beginner and intermediate routes.
The Roost
Scramble through granite towers that lead to hidden pitches of fun sport climbing. A climbing style that is really unique to the Buena Vista area. Expect a moderate walk into the first climb.
