Rowing School

These courses are designed for private boaters that want to gain rowing skills to eventually take friends and family down the river in their own boat. Rafting equipment, rigging, reading water, and basic maneuvers are some of the skills that will be covered. Additional topics include planning and packing for multi-day raft trips or family floats. Rafts and gear provided for group courses. Private instruction– in our raft or yours– available any day, May 1- September 30.

We often find that groups of less than 5 can cover the L1 and L2 material in the same day. We do need a slightly longer time frame compared to our typical private lessons.  This is a great option for those who are eager to get on the river!
